Blogger Unite for Hunger & Hope – April 29th

Posted by AngelBaby on April 29, 2009

There are millions of bloggers in America.

In today’s American Economy, how can we help America and Americans? How can we feed those who have lost their jobs? How can we help people who can’t afford the house they live in, let alone the bills associated with living in that house? How can we better anyone’s life? Even if it’s just one person’s life or one family or one community – let’s ban together and help America.

At BlogDumps they have decided to make a plan. While everyone else talks about America’s untapped natural resources for oil and natural gas, they are looking at America’s unknown, untapped natural resource – BLOGGERS.

They are going to make this as simple as possible. Just donate something, anything you can to our Bloggers Help America Fund by Clicking on the PayPal Button Below. After donating, you will be directed to a button page where you will choose the button that you want on your blog and simply copy and paste the code to your blog. This way only Bloggers who have donated to the fund will be able to display a button on their blog. Once the Button is successfully added to your blog, click the button and leave a comment letting everyone know YOU are a Blogger Helping America.

Simple – 3 steps:

1. Donate
2. Add a Badge to your Blog
3. Let everyone know you helped!

They will make decisions with your help. Polls will be set-up so that you can vote for the charity or cause or family you want the money to go. They will keep track of how much money is donated and display a counter on the front page of BlogDumps.

They want you to comment, vote, volunteer ideas, help promote and become invested in this process don’t just give and forget!

I think this is a great idea for all of us to help our neighbors through these tuff times. With all the bloggers joining together we can make a difference in this world so lets all join together and help as many of our fellow Americans as we can. Go here to BlogDumps for more information.

Love and Blessings,
AngelBaby

Happiness

Posted by AngelBaby on April 28, 2009

What brings you Happiness?

happiness1-300x202

The things that bring me the most joy and Happiness is my family. I am so lucky to have the best family in the world. I have three wonderful brothers and one incredible sister. One son most mothers would give anything for and a daughter sent to me from heaven. Four grandsons that are the cutest and smartest around and one unbelievable granddaughter that is not only smart but beautiful too. They are all the nicest and most wonderful people I know. We are all different yet we accept each other as we are and love each other unconditionally. When we are together there is so much love and laughter it is just wonderful. Oh we pick on each other a bit but it is always in fun and the practical jokes …….. well they never stop thinking them up ……

My friends also make me happy. I am so lucky to have so many wonderful friends from all walks of life and oh do we have fun. The love can be felt by all of us whether we are together or not.  We help each other through the tough times and get together for fun, boy do we have fun.

As you can see Love is what makes me the happiest. The love from my family and friends, there is nothing better than that! Love is all there is!

The Hat with the Angels Wings

The Hat with the Angels Wings

You know the hat you sent for Christmas with the angels wings on it?
I believe it was for a purpose… Ever since you sent it, Irene has taken it and has worn it and it is always with her…

Saturday night she was leaving work and the car in front of her swerved to miss a deer and pulled to the side of the road. Irene was left to deal with this deer on the bridge when she hit her brakes (2009 toyota carolla) it pulled her car to the right and side-swiped the car that pulled over with her right rear quarter and sent her sideways and headed for the river! All of a sudden she gained control but realized she was going for a dunk… 15 to 20 feet down! Some how the car was stopped just enough to just let her roll down the embankment and she landed in a blanket of river marsh reeds and the landing was so soft it was as if she was gently set there – none of here airbags even deployed… Anyway, knowing she was in the river and was scared, she just climbed out of her car and walked through the marsh and walked up the hill back to the road and had not a scratch on her!

She just left to walk for MS in the old blue farm truck as her car is, well, not so hot anymore – looks like she is getting a new one…

She is so upset that her hat is still in the car at the junk yard and wants
it back and will not be without it ever again! She said the Angels were watching over her at that moment!

Irene told me to thank you for sending the angels!!!

I think the Angels were there to protect Irene and they set her softly on the bank of the river. I am sure that the Angels had her wrapped in their wings with great love and comfort for her. That is why she didn’t have a scratch on her. Thank God for Angels!

What do you think?

Bloggers Unite for Earth Day – April 22,2009

Posted by AngelBaby on April 22, 2009

I found this information at Earth Day Network.

Project Switch: Change your light bulbs!

There are now highly efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) that last for years, use a third of the energy of regular bulbs and actually produce more light. Look for the government’s ENERGY STAR label, which means the bulb has been tested for quality and efficiency. While each ENERGY STAR qualified bulb can cost more initially – anywhere from $4 to $15 a piece – remember that there are two price tags: what you pay at the register and what you pay in energy costs over the bulb’s lifetime. You may pay more up front, but you will actually save hundreds of dollars in your household budget over the long term because of their long life. Five ENERGY STAR light bulbs will save your household at least $150 over their lifetime.

Here’s the impact. If every household in the U.S. replaced a burned-out bulb with an energy-efficient, ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescent bulb, the cumulative effect is enormous. It would prevent greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to that from nearly 800,000 cars. It would also save enough energy to light 2.5 million homes for a year.

There are other, simple things with household lighting you can do to conserve. Turn off unneeded lights, dim lights when you can and bring natural sunlight into your home when it is feasible.

But changing those old light bulbs and replacing them with ENERGY STAR qualified compact fluorescents that can last seven years or more is by far the best thing you can do.

For more information on what you can do to help go here.

We all need to do our part to save our planet and our way of life.  It doesn’t take much to make a big difference.  Come on and join me in saving our Mother Earth or what are we going to live on?

Love and Blessings,
AngelBaby

“Have you ever had Angels Watching Over you?”

Posted by AngelBaby on April 21, 2009

I Walk With Angels ……

Many years ago, I was working as a bank teller for Bank of America. One day, while I was filing checks a man walked up to my window which was closed at the time.  He was dressed and looked like a priest.  Then he looked me right in the eyes and asked me, Why are you mad at God?  Now, like I said my window was closed and he didn’t have any transaction to take care of. Needless to say I was a little stunned. I looked at him and said “what?” He said again, “why are you mad at God?” I said, “I am not mad at God.” Even though I knew exactly what he was talking about, I had never told anyone how I felt about God or anything spiritual. How would he know how I felt. I mean I had been through allot of bad stuff in my life so of course who else could I blame? I didn’t tell him this and I wouldn’t admit it to anyone else. Then he said, “God loves you and he did not have anything to do with it. You don’t need to be mad at God. He loves you.”

Then he just  read the rest of the story here ………..

I love this song so I am playing it again! I hope you don’t mind – enjoy …….

Have you ever had Angels watching over you? Tell me your story, I would love to hear it.
