It is true that we can change the world if we want to, all we need is love. It is like John Lenon said in his song all we need is love. I think he was before his time and that is why so many still cherish his music. Ok, this week is two things for tuesday, only two things …….. hmmm …….. can I do only two ……. that is the big question. I am going to try to do just two, lets see if I can do it. This should be interesting can I do just two?
First, I have met so many wonderful people online, especially blogger’s. They come from all over the world and I learn all about their country and their custom’s. I learn what they like and dislike. They tell me about their hobbies and their passion. They become my dear friends. I go to their sites to see them and what they are up to and some times just to say hello. I love them just like they live next door. I look forward to seeing them on a regular basis. This goes on for month after month for years and I just love it. Then they decide to leave blogging and it feels like my favorite neighbor just moved far away. I try to keep in touch with email but soon that fades away too. Oh how I miss some of them, I think about them often and wonder how they are. This is the hardest thing for me in blogging, the dear friends that go on to something else. The good side of this is that I met them and they were my friends for awhile and I do cherish the short time they were in my life.
Second, Blogging is such a great way to meet people from all over the world and it is free. I have learned about cultures of all different countries. What food they eat, their celebrations, their families, just all about them. It is so wonderful. I joke with my friends, telling them all the countries I visit and how interesting it is. They say you can find anything on the web. I love meeting fellow blogger’s and making new friends. So to all of you who have come to my site for the first time to pay me a visit stay for a while. Leave me a comment so I know you were here and we can become friends. To all of you who come by all the time and are my dear friends, thank you for your friendship, I really enjoy and cherish your friendship. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for being my friend. I know Angels watch over me all the time and I am never alone because they are here with me. Angels are a gift from God just because he loves us so much. They are his messengers. Angels love us unconditionally. We are so blessed and so deeply loved. Know that it is true. Believe. I hope you enjoyed this beautiful song about the Angels.
It was a beautiful night back in the 60′s when my brothers and their friends were off to have a good time. They all piled into the Lark station wagon and started off to the party. My brother Mike was driving, his friend was riding shotgun and my brother John was in the back seat with his friend. They were laughing and telling some great stories about other great times they had together. It was going to be another wonderful time. They were driving down the 101 freeway in Los Angeles there wasn’t much traffic so it was smooth going.
All of a sudden Mike could not steer the car, now they were in the fast lane of the freeway. They were going into the center divider fence at a high rate of speed. All of them were screaming “Oh my God”. Mike was yelling hold on! The car kept careening against the fence taking out one post after another. All you could here was the horrible scraping of the car against the fence and tearing sound of the metal ripping off the car and all the young men in the car yelling oh my God, oh my God hold on. The Theme for this week is …… “Oktoberfest”
“What is your Favorite Fall Festival”
We don’t have much of an Oktoberfest around her so we just get together and celebrate that the long hot summer is over and fall is here, or is it?
Well, I just went to a party at my daughter’s house last night. I had allot of fun too! It was a celebration that fall is here! The temperature here on Friday is suppose to be 90, I don’t know why but that sounds like summer to me. I think our celebration was a little premature. Oh well, we did have fun. All the kids were there and some friends. My daughter made homemade Chicken enchiladas, refried beans and rice. It was just yummmy! In fact I took some home. I just warmed it up and I am eating it right now, it is still just yummmy! Good stuff. I sure hope that it cools down soon, after all it is suppose to be fall, right?
