The Lords Prayer

This is in two parts, the prayer (in blue type) and GOD (in red type) in response.

Our Father Who Art In Heaven.
Yes?
Don’t interrupt me. I’m praying.
But — you called ME!
Called you?
No, I didn’t call you.
I’m praying.
Our Father who art in Heaven.
There — you did it again!
Did what?
Called ME.
You said,
‘Our Father who art in Heaven’
Well, here I am.
What’s on your mind?
But I didn’t mean anything by it.
I was, you know, just saying my prayers for the day.
I always say the Lord’s Prayer.
It makes me feel good,
kind of like fulfilling a duty.
Well, all right.
Go on.
Okay, Hallowed be thy name.
Hold it right there.
What do you mean by that?
By what? Read more …………

What would you do if God interrupted your prayer to talk to you? What would you say? You can’t comment on the inspirational stories page, I don’t know why, so come back here to leave a comment. Thank you for patients and understanding. I hope to have this fixed soon.

Love and Blessings,

    Bob,

When you think about it you want God to listen to your prayers but what would you say if he interrupted your prayer to talk to you? I think it would be awesome! If he is listening to us then we should be careful what we pray for. 😉

I loved this. I read the entire thing. I try to tell my ten year old when she says that prayer before bed to think of what the words are really saying to us. I think that I need to really think about those words when I say them too. It’s almost midnight and I’m off to bed. Thank you this was wonderful, It made me smile.
    Take care.

    Melissa Q.,

We do need to think about what we say and ask for from God he just might give it to us. Anything we say to others God listens to also so we should think about that too. I am glad you enjoyed this. 😉
