Angels at the Post Office
Posted by AngelBaby on August 31, 2008
Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words:
Dear God,
Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick.

How beautiful and my condolences to your loss.
Rose,
I am amazed that Angels come to us in so many different ways. They could be anything a song, something that a friend says to us, a story and many more. What a wonderful gift God gave to us …… Angels, his messengers.

Bluedreamer,
I think the people at the post office were Angels when they did this and it was wonderful. Angels can come in all different forms, they can be anything it is up to us to see them and listen to what they have to say to us.
I will be by to see what you have for me and wish you a happy anniversary!

Bluecrystaldude,
What the Angels at the post office did for Meredith was wonderful it helped her cope with such a big loss. God sends us Angels all the time to help us throughout our lives all we need to do is pay attention and we will see and hear what they have to say to us. I am so sorry to hear about your dog.

Lance,
I am so glad that I touch your heart with my stories and put a smile on your face. That is my goal to make people feel better than they did before they came to my site. It makes me feel good to hear someone tell me how good my site makes them feel.
Thank you.
