The Don’t Quit Poem

I put this video together because I love this poem. I did not write this poem, the author is unknown. I wish I knew who wrote this it is so beautiful. I am putting the words here so you can copy them and read them whenever you are discouraged. Let me know how you like my video. I would love to hear what you think.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow–
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor’s cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out–
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit–
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.

OMG totally awesome! The music was so peaceful! Did I miss what song that was or could you please tell me. Thanks! Great presentation with the special effects like the page turn, the heart, etc. BTW: Is this your first video? I am so envious

The music is by Arych Frankfurcer and it is called Sleeper’s Awake. He plays the harp in this song and when I heard him play at a concert I had to have a CD. He is just fabulous. I know he plays several instruments and most of his music is like this on the video. I am glad you liked it. I had allot of fun making it and many hours trying to get it right. I use Movie Maker and it is relatively easy to use. This is my sixth one that I have done and they are all on here for everyone to see, aren’t I brave!
If you want to see all of them I will list them here and then you will see my progress in the video’s I have done ………. drum roll …….. 1) the Stair Case Built by an Angel …. 2.) I have progressed some but not as far as I would like. I am quite proud of myself for learning to do this all by myself and I do keep improving with each one.
