Angels
My thoughts are about Angels. God gave us an amazing gift of messengers that are here to help us throughout our lives and they are called Angels. There are different types of Angels and I am going to let you know what they are. I thought I would keep it simple and not go into great detail.
In the Bible you will find that there are different Angels that have duties like being guides, protectors or messengers.
Angels are also recorded in the Koran. “You shall see the angels circling around the throne, giving glory to their Lord.
We are given two Angels at birth that stay with us throughout our lives, they are called our Guardian Angels. Some believe when they die they will be led to Heaven by the angel of death. Many stories show a stranger next to the deathbed at the time a person passes.
There is a hierarchical order of angels. The first group is the Seraphim, Cherubim, and then the Thrones.
The word Seraphim (singular is Seraph) is taken from the fiery imagery often associated with the Presence of God. It is said that they are the closest to God and stay by his side.
Cherubim are often represented as guardians with many wings. Thrones have been depicted as wearing stoles and kneeling before God.
Archangels are the third group of angels that includes the principalities, protectors of nations, and the angles who protect humans.
This is just a brief list of the types of Angels. The actual list is much more detailed, I thought I would keep it simple. The reason the there are different types of Angels is because of their duties they perform for God. There are more Angels then there are stars in the sky and each one has it’s duties to perform. They are given to us to teach us that love is all there is and that we are love. Angels want us to know that we are loved unconditionally and if we call on them they will be by our side instantly. They want to help us and guide us with great love. Don’t be afraid to call on the Angels they love helping us and get very excited when we call on them. So just Ask!

I knew you were going to talk about angels!
I remember as a child I found this really old picture book on angels in the library. Different stories of miracles wherein children were saved, and in each one, when the child was interviewed, they all talked about the angels who saved them.

I love Angels and they do love us beyond measure. I would love to see that book, I am sure it is just wonderful.

Angelbaby, this one is really interesting and I am sharing it with my kids because you have made it simple enough for them to understand. Thnx so much! My sis who is a Christian died at the age of 50 from lupus and just before she passed her son and his wife had visions (dreams?) of angels standing by her bed. Then they woke up and rushed to her side. She passed on peacefully soon after. I think its good for the kids to believe in Angels and I share more with them as I learn more from you. I think it is good for children to learn about all of this and to know that they have Angels with them all the time to help and guide them through out their lives. By the way Angels have a marvelous sense of humor, trust me they do!
