Happy New Year
I went up north to see my family in San Luis Obispo County for Christmas and it sure was fun. I haven’t been up there in a year and a half. My grandsons have grown a lot! Shawn is 6’8″ tall now and he is only 15 and still growing. It was great fun to see him drive my mustang and seeing him get into it was so much fun to watch! He is so cute with his big blue eyes and adorable smile. Then there is Jarod he has really grown since the last time I saw him, now he is about 5’10″. He’s only 13, I wonder how tall he will be. Of course we can not forget Michael, he is the adorable 11 year old who is only 5’9″ tall. I think it is so wonderful to watch my grandchildren grow up Teasing Shawn I told him that he can not grow up so fast he has to slow down. He just laughed. I only have one little one now and that is Ellie, she is only nine months old and my last baby. I guess I will have to wait for more baby’s from my grandchildren. Oh no that would make me a great grandmother! Yikes, I can not go there, I am not old enough. 
So if anyone has been wondering where I have been lately, now you know and it was so much fun!
I don’t know about anyone else but I am sure glad 2012 is over! Time for a new year! I know this year will be much better than last year for sure. Remember how so many thought that the world was going to end, that was so funny. Why do people always expect the worst when things are going to change Like 2k The world was going to end for sure just because the computers were not programed for 2k. Well, I survived that one, just by a hair. Not really, I felt the same about that as I did for 2012, nothing was going to happen. I was right, again. I think I should become a physic or something. Don’t even go there and say I should be an or something!
Don’t tell me you do not know who Jack is …………. You can’t remember Jack …………………. that is Jack ???? ……… now come on you can remember more than that and you are saying you do know who Jack is, come on I am sure you do!
I can not wait to see what this new year will bring, I know it will be better that the last to years. Well that is my two thoughts for this week. I hope you enjoyed it enough to click on my blinking button.

Oh my gosh, Angelbaby…you sure have tall grandkids!!! I’d feel as small as a shrimp if I ever stood next to them in line. LOL!
I am glad it’s a new year, too. It just always seems like new years are just a great marking point in time to plan ahead, reflect on past mistakes, and redecorate my house (hahaha, had to throw that last one in).

I know I live in the Land of the giants and I am a shrimp too. I used to be 5’8″ tall but since I have had cancer I shrunk 2″ so I am even shorter. Everyone in my family is tall. My son’s wife’s family is real tall too. so these boys did not stand a chance at being short. LOL!
Well I have already redecorated my bedroom and bathroom so I don’t need to do that. I guess I will just ponder new stuff to do.

Your grandchildren aren’t just tall….they are super-sized tall. My husband is 6’5″ and my son is 6’2″ and they are considered tall. At 5’4 I feel short.
I agree with you that I didn’t give much thought to all the doomsdayers predictions. I don’t think that there is a specific date that can map out how the end will happen. I suspect we need to work on our faith and live lives that we can be proud of. Perhaps living a good life now is better than worrying about things like an apocalypse. .
I am wishing you a much better 2013 after all you went through last year. Take care of yourself and I send you my wishes for a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I know I live in the land of the Giants, everyone is taller than I am. I used to be 5’8″, now I am 5’6″. I shrunk big time after cancer trashed my back. I look at this different, I am thrilled that I am in remission and doing well. I am so grateful for my health.
